Air & Style is calling
The story continues!
After the comeback of the Billabong Air & Style Innsbruck-Tirol 08
the successful story of the Billabong Air & Style will enter its
second chapter on January, 31st, 2009.
October 14th, 2008 – Preparations for the progression of the Billabong
Air & Style in the Bergisel Stadium are moving forward rapidly. The
format proved itself: the biggest Quarter Pipe worldwide, 24 Top-Riders
and two excellent Live-Acts will (again) make the event an unforgettable
evening.
Besides snowboard legend Terje Haakonsen and the great Finnish
division around Antti Autti and Risto Mattila, the super talents Peter
König and Werner Stock from Austria and Colin Frei from Switzerland
will show their skills. More riders will be announced in the next days.
The audience can be assured to see the crème de la crème of
snowboarding in Innsbruck again.
The incredible event in February 08 impressed the international
snowboard world. After starting as a Swatch TTR 5Star Event last year
it has only taken this one event to progress into the small elite group of
6Star events. This means that the event is one of the six best in the
world. On top of that the Billabong Air & Style 09 is presently the biggest
contest in Europe.
And that is not all – the Indie-Rock-Band Mando Diao will perform live
as the headliner. The five Swedish musicians have been performing
since 1999 and will definitely rock the stadium. The second top act will
be announced soon.
Live Streaming
On Wednesday, October 15th the official ticket presale starts. Grandstand tickets are available for € 34,00, VIP tickets are available for € 120,00 (both plus presale fee).
The tickets can be bought on the official Air & Style homepage www.air-
style.com or at Ö-Ticket.
The Bergisel Stadium has a maximum capacity of 13.000 spectators
and as seen at the last Billabong Air & Style 08 it will very likely be sold
out soon.
You can find further information and a live feed at the event day
(provided by Mpora.tv) on www.air-style.com.
