Returning process:

• Inform yourself about the delivery costs at the post office, at UPS or DHL
• Take the cheapest way to send the package back and get sure that the postage is paid
• Write us an email on mailorder@fakiestore.com


Exchange - Possibilities

  • Without the Receit you can´t change the product.(Yellow paper in the package)

• Replacement of the article with others products of our online shop
• Credit at Fakieshop for your next purchase

Please ensure that you return orders with sufficient postage.
We recommend you, to inform yourself about the delivery costs at the post office and different delivery services first. So you can find the best and cheapest delivery service for your return.
Returns where postage is not paid will not be accepted by us. The delivery costs will be refunded to you should we have made a mistake or the product was damaged during delivery, or the product is faulty.

 

Manufacturer Guarantee:

So you have your new stuff and you have been using it on the mountains, all going well. If in the rare case that something goes wrong with your product due to a manufacturing mistake, such as a Board’s topsheet coming away, or a boot sole coming unglued from the boot, or a binding breaking somewhere where it should not through normal use then get contact with us.

The general rule is most manufacturers offer a 1 year (some 2 years) guarantee on their products against manufacture faults, so if your product suffers a problem during normal use you should be able to get it exchanged.

What to do if you think your product is faulty?

  1. 1. Send us an email with your order number and full name. Describe the problem in the email and if you have a camera email us a photo of the problem. Then we can check out the problem and see if in our opinion you should send it back. If we are not sure we send the photo and description to the manufacturer to see what they say. By doing this it means you don’t spend money sending something back that is not faulty.
  2. 2. If we agree there is a problem with the product, send it back to us and we will forward it on to the manufacturer. We pay to send it to the manufacturer so you have to cover the costs of sending it to us.
  3. 3. We wait for an answer from the manufacturer (time varies with each manufacturer), they will then inform us if the guarantee claim has been accepted and what they will offer you. If the product does have a fault they will usually send a new replacement, or if that exact product is not in stock they will send an upgrade. If your claim is decided by the manufacturer to not be valid as the product does not have a fault or it was broken due to improper use, the manufacturer will send the product back to us or will in some cases off you a reduction on a replacement. We will contact you before hand in such circumstances.
  4. 4. When we receive a replacement we send it to you on our costs. Easy.
  5. 5. Points to remember are that most companies will not offer a board replacement if the break is from – rail sliding damage, impact damage on sidewalls or the break of a tail from a hard landing.
  6. 6. So now you can be safe in the knowledge that all products purchased at Blue Tomato come with the full manufacturers guarantee and we are there to help you deal with any problems with your stuff purchased from us.
